Okay... I have absolutely nothing to say. I'm preoccupied with attempting to finish (successfully) my first year of law school. So, my time is limited and my focus is on things other than my hair. I have passed my first month mark, and I'm not completely impressed. I get tons of compliments... but I'm not intrigued with what my hair is displaying. However...

hey I thought I'd post the comment here too,
I tried the tea tree essential oil and water spitz and honestly it didnt do anything for me except break me out. I was told that if my scalp was dry that I would spot tree the areas that were in need. The spritzing may cause major shrinkage thats what it did for me which is why I don't use it that much because I really don't like that. I say braid your hair leave it in over night if necessary give it a little spritz in the morning before you take the braids out and see if that gives it a umf. It should make it have a little shine to it. I'm still trying to figure out where to buy other essential oils. Hope I helped. :-)
When I first loced I had some good, bad, and ok hair days. I will say that no bad day could compare to my worst loose or permed hair day..
The good thing about your situation is you are busy, so as soon as you slow down you're going to notice such a transformation with your locs! Good luck with finishing up your first year!!! I'm rooting for you!
